Explorer Programme - March to December
Choose two of our explorer programmes for a full day of activities...

Woodland and Wildlife (KS1 & 2)

Experience, record and measure the woodland habitat and its inhabitants.


Freshwater (KS1 & 2)

Record and study invertebrates. Investigate how they adapt to their environment. Please note that this activity involves a 20 min walk.


Art (KS1 & 2)

From observational drawings to finished screen or relief print. Make clay models and owl masks.


Film and Exhibition (KS1 & 2)

Discover the science behind gunpowder and the history of the site.


Rockets (KS1 & 2)

Make and fire an air powered rocket.


Team Building (KS2)

Outdoor physical and mental team activities that are challenging and fun.


Orienteering (KS2)

Learn how to navigate using a map.


Victorian Costumes & Work (KS2)

Try on authentic Victorian costumes including crinoline dresses. Hear how these costumes changed our lives completely and how we worked in that time..

 

 

Charges:

£4.50 per pupil for two
explorer sessions.

Adults free.

Times:

10 am to 2:30 pm

Group Sizes:
