Rawdon’s Regiment is a part of The English Civil War Society, one of the largest Re-enactment organisations in the UK, which portrays Battle Re-enactments, Living History Displays, and Historical Interpretations up and down the Country. Further details may be found within the Society’s website:

11.00 – 4.30 The Living History site will be open on the Queens Mead where a variety of crafts and skills will be demonstrated. Visit the Officer's quarters, see weapons up close in the Armoury, watch food being prepared in the Sutlery, and see the Engineers construct defences for the camp. Also, you will be able to see the cavalry soldiers and horses of Sir Richard Grenville's Troop of Horse.
11.30 - 12.00 First Skirmish as Roundhead soldiers are surprise attacked and cut down by raiding Royalist cavalrymen. To be followed immediately by...
12.00 - 12.15 Artillery Drill Display.
12.15 - 1.30 Lunch: Soldiers eating at campsite Sutlery.
1.45 - 2.15 Cavalry Mounted Drill Display.
2.30 - 3.15 Infantry Drill Display.
3.30 - 4.30 Main Skirmish of Cavalry, Infantry,and Artillery as Royalist soldiers led by Rawdon's Regiment try to seize the Gunpowder Mills. Followed by Final Salute and last visits to campsite.
