Hot on last years successful Steam Fair, the nostalgia of steam, the smell of hot oil and coal smoke returns to the Royal Gunpowder Mills in Essex for the second time in over seventy years. The event celebrates the 151st anniversary of the introduction of steam power to drive the powder incorporating mills in 1856.
The Steam Fair will bring together many forms of steam transport including some unique machines for this two-day event. On show will be steam lorries, traction engines and road rollers from 2 inch scale up to full size engines, stationary engines, trade stalls, live steam miniature railways and a children’s fun fair.
