SPY ACADEMY AT THE SECRET ISLAND - ROYAL GUNPOWDER MILLS
For a fun-filled week of activities and adventure, the Secret Island - Royal Gunpowder Mills is not-to-be-missed this June Half Term. Presenting their highly anticipated Spy Academy, there’s a superb schedule of exciting events planned for the half term week.
Open daily between Saturday 2nd June and Sunday 10th June, Spy Kids and Secret Agents will be able to put their detective skills to the test with a collection of covert operations during special secret missions.
From code breaking to all forms of espionage, the Spy Academy will put all budding agents through their paces as the Lab Rats lead them through a series of tests to transform them into a real Secret Island Spy!
Jump on board the military truck for a covert adventure deep into the secret woodland where you will be issued with details of your mission, which, should you choose to accept it, will be one of espionage, code breaking and covert operations to find your way back to the Secret Island site.
Professor Nitrate will be in his Mad Lab conducting his usual crazy experiments, where he will unveil the science of spying through some explosive shows and fascinating hands-on experiments involving forces, aerodynamics and all sorts of chemical reactions.
The brand new test range will be open where spies-in-training will be launching, catapulting, shooting and firing a variety of rocket cars, cannons and air soft rifles in their very own test range trials.
In addition, spies will get to visit the Rocket Vault to see the rockets worked on when the Royal Gunpowder Mills was a top-secret government research facility.
An interactive experience for all visitors, the Secret Island-Royal Gunpowder Mills offers an exclusive insight into an intriguing history; featuring an audio-visual show and an exciting firearm exhibition in their extensive Armoury.
Take a tour in their land train amidst 170 acres of stunning natural parkland and discover the truth behind the secrets of the infamous Gunpowder Plot and more for a truly exhilarating and enlightening family day out.
