The space theme continues with families enjoying an array of activities on offer throughout the nine days. You can make “Space Sand” and “Galaxy Goo” to model a little bit of the galaxy to take home with you. Further activities include decorating space suits, taking selfies at a Space Window, and testing skills for outer space by making and launching model rockets with the help of the Professor’s assistants.  Then there is the Royal Gunpowder Mills’ Rocket Vault where real rockets and satellites are kept, with a quiz that families can complete as they learn.

You could also write your own space story about your 'Mission To Mars' with Professor Nitrate and be in with the chance of winning a fantastic prize.

For a full timetable of each days of activities, stay tuned to our website and social media.

Children absorb knowledge and engage with science whilst immersing themselves in fun within 170 acres of secret science and hidden heritage at the Royal Gunpowder Mills.
