BANG BANG! There’s a shootout this late May Bank Holiday weekend at the Royal Gunpowder Mills as the Wild West comes to Waltham Abbey. History is brought to life when the Frontiers migrate to the Mills and bring their settlement with them!

Experience life from the Wild West era.  On all three days of the event, the re-enactors show you how they worked and lived, some as cowboys, trying to protect their open country where their cattle can roam free , others as new settlers fencing off that open land to create homesteads and a town.  On Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday at 3pm tensions spill over and there is a shoot-out between cowboys and settlers.

Children can get in on the fun with Wild West themed activities such as panning for gold, making cowboy hats , the shooting gallery , opportunities to dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl and much more  Professor Nitrate will also be on hand testing all his craziest science with fun science shows in The Mad Lab.

Tickets start at just £8.50 for children, £10.50 for adults and there’s also fantastic family tickets to get your hands on!
