Doug’s background is in historic conservation and he works as Technical and Research Director of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).

Dr Jennifer M. Freeman

Chair of the board of trustees

Background in finance and built heritage in which she has qualifications including post-graduate diploma in building conservation.

Awarded OBE for services to heritage in 2012 and Honorary Doctorate of Arts for services to Architecture, especially Conservation 1996.

Active as a freelance writer, lecturer and specialist developer of listed buildings 'at risk'.

Active member of many bodies including the Friends of Kensal Green Cemetery, National Churches Trust, Fabric Advisory Committee of St Paul's Cathedral, the Chapels Society and SAVE Britain's Heritage, and previously for Historic Chapels Trust, Victorian Society, the Civic Trust, New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission, London Committee of English Heritage and Council for the Care of Churches. Has often acted as expert witness at public inquiries.

Joined the Board in 2012.

Fiona Baxter

Fiona has had a career as a senior HR practitioner, working for several large firms throughout her career. Her most prominent roles have concerned change management and culture shift to ensure successful delivery of strategy. 

Fiona is down-to-earth, believes in getting hands-on where demonstrable support for staff will be the driver for organisational success
