Description

Take a ride on the The Gunpowder Railway, a narrow gauge railway running roughly 1 km along the perimeter of the Royal Gunpowder Mills site (approx 30 minutes).

Enjoy the views of our alder plantation and maybe catch sight of some of some deer!

Learn more about the history of the site in our Main Exhibition, full of interactive displays.

Details

Gunpowder Railway and Main Exhibition half day sessions are 75 minutes in length.

Morning session: 10:45AM – 12:00PM

Afternoon session: 12:45PM – 2:00PM

Mix and match with another half day session to create a whole day visit. Chose from: Air-Powered Rockets (KS1/2/3) and Gunpowder Railway and Main Exhibition (KS1/2/3)

All cancellations made less than 24 hours before the visits will be charged at 100% of the total cost.
