Experience an interactive science show, explore our Rocket Vault and discover how to make your own air-powered rockets.

Topic Description

Students will experience a one hour interactive science show designed to ignite curiosity and demonstrate Newton's laws of motion in an engaging way. Students will be introduced to concepts such as gravity, friction and acceleration through a series of exciting experiments.

Students will have the chance to explore our Rocket Vault which holds a range of rockets from an early 19th century gunpowder rockets to mid 20th century British sounding rockets. 

Through a series of hands-on activities, including making and launching air-powered rockets, students will have the opportunity to devise their own fair tests, gather data and report findings in a fun and engaging way.

On Site Visits run from 10:30AM – 2:00PM (arrival time 10:00AM – 2:30PM departure time).


On site visit cancellation will be charged at 50% of the total cost.

All cancellations made less than 24 hours before the visits will be charged at 100% of the total cost.
